I play viola on a semi-professional level. In the past, I have pursued this interest by playing in community orchestras, including the University of Chicago Symphony, the Santa Monica Symphony, the Peninsula Symphony, and the La Jolla Symphony. For the last several years, I have been instead concentrating on chamber music and individual study. My quartet, the Oberon Quartet, performed last year at the Neurosciences Institute, in a concert including Beethoven Opus 18/4, Shostakovich quartet 3, and Webern's Langsamer Satz.
